Blog with Rob: Feeling better about the economy? You’re not alone.
Americans are finally starting to feel better about the economy for the first time in eight years. The latest CNBC All-America Economic survey saw a record 27% of people surveyed judging the economy as excellent or good. To put this in perspective, last year that number was 16% and at the beginning of the recession that number was just 4%. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
This news isn’t surprising. We’ve all watched recently as major companies move to raise wages, such as Walmart and McDonald’s. The economy has steadily added jobs, the unemployment rate has gone down and average hourly earnings are slowly creeping up.
Isn’t it nice to hear some good news for a change??
